His wife and son live on Norfolk Street North [SR19170405p7] Richardson -- Mrs. Richardson of Norfolk Street North, Simcoe, last evening received a telegram from Halifax advising her that her husband, Lieut. W. P. Richardson, who went overseas early in the year with the 240th Renfrew Battalion, had arrived at that port in company with a detachment of returned men. Lieut. Richardson, who is a veteran of the Boer War, was hopeful of reaching the front, but owing to being somewhat over the age limit, has been returned to Canada, where it is expected he will continue in the service as an instructor [SR19171115p7] Richardson -- W.
