William Edgett Tisdale
"Elder son and third child of Col. David Tisdale. Born 19 March, 1864.
Called
to the bar in 1888. Joined the law firm of Tisdale, Robb and Tisdale, later Tisdale,
Tisdale and Reid. Appointed K.C. in 1908, and Registrar of Norfolk County in 1909.
Town
Councillor for five years, and Mayor of Simcoe in 1897-98. Married Mary, eldest daughter
of Dr. John Wilson, first Mayor of Simcoe (1878-79).
Died 3rd
