Cormack -- Mr. and Mrs. George Cormack of Simcoe were born in Scotland but have lived a long while in Simcoe. They have four sons in the war, one in the navy, and three with the C.E.F. Their son-in-law, Harold Hillis (photo), gave his life for the cause, Apr 1916. Their eldest son, Donald (photo), never left Scotland. He was a naval reservist and at the outbreak of the war was called to service. He is serving on H.M.S. Excellence. David (photo), now in hospital, went from Simcoe with the First Contingent, to the "Fighting Fourth." Frank (photo) and William (photo) are in France, having gone overseas with "Norfolk's Own" [SR19170426p6]
