On 26 Apr 2003, I facilitated a Genealogy by Computer workshop for the
Norfolk Historical Society at the Eva Brook Donly Museum in Simcoe.
Participants received a CD of genealogy software and this web address.
What they found here were workshop handouts on three topics: technology,
computers and genealogy. The technology and computers web pages are now out of date, and have therefore been removed.
But the genealogy
pages still stand up pretty well as a primer to doing genealogy by
computer. So in hopes novices will find them useful, here they are.
Why web pages instead of workshop handouts? They're cheaper. They're dynamic -- they can be changed on the fly as
warranted.

by all means
check them out. Workshop links are on the right.
