Daniel
Millard was a corporal in the 85th Regiment. In 1786 he came to Niagara. The entry "Daniel Millard and wife" appears on the Niagara
provision list for that year.
In 1799 he removed to the township of
Woodhouse. He was a man of
exceedingly good character, reliable and trustworthy. He was appointed, in
1800, the first treasurer for London District. His two sons were given
land in Norfolk County, the one in Woodhouse, the other in Townsend. |
