Fondly referred to as "Roxy's Reformer Cubs" this team went 17 games before a defeat.

From the 24 Feb 1938 Simcoe Reformer:
"Roxy's Reformer Cubs take Group title ... Defeat Hagersville by Wide Margin ... win round 10-4 ... Harry Atherton, netminder for Cubs, played one of his best games of the season, but so also did the iron defencemen Don Ryerse and Jack Baskerville.."

From the 7 Mar 1938 Simcoe Reformer:
"Cubs 4-2 win eliminates Thorold. Wood get pair. Ryerse, Ferris one apiece. Roxy's Reformer Cubs rode roughshod over a determined Thorold crew to eliminate the Mounties and move up another notch in their drive for Provincial honors."

In a special edition 11 Mar 1938 "The Reformer Cublet" said:
"Orangeville lose first contest of semi-final round. Two goals by Wood pace Cubs 3-1 victory last night ... work of Atherton in Simcoe nets sensational."

From the 17 Mar 1938 Simcoe Reformer:
"Orangeville ties round with 5-3 victory ... Cubs suffer first defeat in 18 games as Greenshirts impress before big home crowd ... more than 1,700 thrill-racked fans saw the Cubs and Greenshirts battle through sixty minutes of wide open hockey."

From the 21 Mar 1938 Simcoe Reformer:
"Cubs finally bow to Orangeville. Simcoe sextet is eliminated from O.H.A. playdowns. Greenshirts show decided margin in third game to give Roxy's gang their whitewash ... crowd sets season's record for Kitchener Arena. Roxy's Reformer Cubs made a gallant last stand before more than 2,000 spectators."
