"Beaten at Threshold to O.H.A. Finals -- Simcoe's best hockey season
in years came to an end last night at Clinton when the Colts took the
Redskin's measure to eliminate the local team at the very door to the
Provincial Finals. Credited at the start of the season with little chance
to get out of their group, Major Wark's proteges made a brilliant showing
in defeating Caledonia, Brantford, and Acton successively before bowing to
the speedy Clinton team." |
