      Richard 'Dick" Dickerson Tentatively identified 28 Aug 2009 by Joan (Coones) Horn Confirmed 21 Sep 2009 by his cousin Shirley (Holden) Ross Confirmed 3 Sep 2011 by his son Frank Dickerson From Frank: This is my father, Richard Holden Dickerson, born 8 Jan 1930. He enlisted in the RCAF in 1951; discharged as a Corporal in 1956. He worked for then Simcoe Mayor Alfred Judd as an accountant at Judd's accounting firm before accepting a position as Sec Treasurer of the Delhi P.U.C., retiring in 1981. Dick and his first wife, Lillian Marie Abbey, had two children: Susan and Frank. Dick and his last wife, Jean Dixon, had a daughter, Lisa. Dad's interests included model airplane building, electronics, and gardening. He was an avid rally driver. Dad passed away 7 Sep 1982, the result of a boating accident near Long Point. He was predeceased by brother Frank in 1955 and grandson Eddie in 1982. Interred: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe. Also see Dick's brother Frank Dickerson.  |
