From Carmin: Lois was born 9 Apr 1928 in Simcoe, the elder
daughter of
Melvin Powell Church and his wife Blanche Hare.
Lois lived in Jarvis when
very young, then her birth family
moved to Simcoe, where Lois spent the
rest of her life.
Her father was a barber in Simcoe for over 60 years.
Lois married Glenn Mack Donald Walker on 9 Jun 1948.
They had two
children, two grandchildren. Lois spent the last
13 years of her life
living with her son Marti and
daughter-in-law, Carmin. Lois, 77, passed away on 23 Jun 2005.
