Denton Vance (1914 -1973), son of Simcoe Mayor Robert
S. Vance and Rhea Denton, married Muriel O'Reilly daughter
of Ursula (McSloy) O'Rielly in 1942. His brother, Edward S.
Vance, was subsequently Mayor of Tillsonburg.
Jack's father, Robert S. Vance, was a son of Norfolk auctioneer Robert Vance and Elizabeth Luscombe,
a sister of George
Luscombe.
