From John. James Leigh Corbett was born 1894 near 
Port Dover where he farmed most of his life, retiring 
to Port Dover in 1965. He married Mary Gladys Edmiston 
and raised four sons. Leigh died in 1984. He and Gladys 
are buried in Port Dover Cemetery.
