| This is
student Russell Tupper Identified in Port Ryerse 1794-1994 Confirmed 16 Feb 2005 by grandson C. Russ Tupper, Toronto From Russ: "I am confident this photo is of my grandfather, Arthur Russell Tupper, who was born 1886 in Windham township, son of Elias and Jennie Tupper, who lived at Port Ryerse at this time. He was 11 or 12 when this photo was taken. Elias and Jennie's daughter, Erie Claire, was born 1891 in Port Ryerse. Their son Roy Alfred was born 1898 in Port Ryerse, died there in 1900, and was buried behind Port Ryerse church. Arthur Russell Tupper married Mary Newton in 1907 in Springford. They lived in Norwich until 1911 when they moved to Woodstock, Ontario. They raised four sons and one daughter. He died 1966 and is buried in Norwich Cemetery.
