1936 in
Simcoe, second son of Bruce T. Jackson and Kathleen G. H. Cowan,
brother of George (1925-2007) and James. Hadley attended Ridley College 1950-55, Waterloo College 1955-56 and
UWO 1956.
He married Linda DeMent in 1957. They had four children before divorcing in 1969.
Hadley worked for London Life 1957-59 then
started with Cooperators Insurance in 1960. Promoted to be district manager of Norfolk County in 1963 and moved back to
Simcoe. Promoted to Barrie as district manager for Simcoe County and
districts of Parry Sound and Muskoka in 1967. Returned to Simcoe
in a sales capacity in 1971, where he retired in 1992 to pursue a
passion to sail the Caribbean. Married Patricia Hagey, in 2003.
