Jane Jackson, daughter of George J. Jackson Sr. and Elizabeth [White] Born: 17 May 1834 at sea, in Gulf of St. Lawrence River, Canada Married: John F. McCool, Mar 1857 in Simcoe Died: 31 Oct 1919 in Simcoe, Norfolk County (age 85)

Their Children: Elizabeth Pauline McCool (1859-1938) Catherine "Kate" Elizabeth Fitzgerald McCool married Arthur McKerlie Eleanor Jane Jackson McCool (about 1864-1946) Margaret Jackson McCool (1867-1897) Daniel Brown McCool (1870-1921) Mary Alicia "Mamie" McCool married Benjamin Franklin Abbott John George McCool (about 1874-1956) Thomas Edward McCool (1879-1880)

Notes: John was a carpenter in the employ of Jane's brothers, J. & G. Jackson. This family lived on Market Street in Simcoe, which ran between Talbot and Head streets, parallel to and between Robinson and Young streets. Today their lot is southwest corner of  the parking lot immediately north of Talbot Gardens. John and Jane are said buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe, but no stones found.
