Notes: William and his elder brother Robert married sisters. William was a druggist, a partner of Dr. James Hayes in Hayes & Livingstone drug store, Simcoe. Subsequently W.W. was Simcoe's Town Clerk for a quarter century. After his brother Robert and her sister Ann died, William and Margaret raised their children. W.W. and family moved to Tillsonburg where they lived on a Middleton township farm.
