Marian Livingstone, daughter of Rev. M. Livingstone and Margaret Thompson Born: 8 Apr 1840 in Musselburgh, Scotland Married: Wm. P. Innes, 15 Jan 1868 in Simcoe, Norfolk County (age 27) Died: 15 Mar 1918 in Simcoe, Ontario (age 70)  Buried: Oakwood Cemetery, Simcoe

Notes: Marian and her sister Margaret married in a double cememony officiated by their father.  W.P. operated the Checkered Store in Simcoe then founded the cannery that grew to become Canadian Canners. Brothers-in-law Robert T. Livingstone, Joseph Jackson and James Hayes helped him get it started. W.P. subsequently bought them out. W.P. and Marian were married 50 years before dying days apart. Their joint funeral virtually closed the town down, as residents lined the streets to pay their last respects to Simcoe's largest employer. Also see Photos & Bios for W.P. and Marian.
