Their Children: John Hair married Anna Clara Nixon  Ann Menzie Hair married Hugh Elliott and settled in South Dakota Helen Johnston Hair married William Benjamin McIntosh, moved to Brant County Elizabeth Pauline Hair married Thomas Wood Smith Johnston Hair married Sarah Jane Porter Mary Jackson Hair married Wm. S. T. Mason George Jackson Hair (1864-1870)

Notes: Margaret and her sister Ann were twins.  Margaret's brother John married Bartholomew's sister Elizabeth.  Bartholomew and Margaret settled west of Jarvis, joined the Anglican Church there. They subsequently bought land at Rockford in Townsend Township, and built a home there.
