Business Humming at the Telephone Factory

The citizens of Waterford are beginning to realize what a valuable asset the telephone factory is to our town.

The pay roll now amounts to nearly $275 per week and this will be added to almost weekly during the coming months.
At present there are 37 employees and more will be added in a short time.

The assembling of 2,000 'phones has been started  and soon the finished telephones will be shipped from this factory.

A start has also been made on the parts for 5,000 more 'phones and when we state there are 350 parts to each telephone, the reader will have some idea of the tremendous amount of work this will mean.

The way orders are coming in it is believed the factory will have difficulty in supplying demand. The Star believes we have one of the best manufacturing instiitutions in Canada right here in our village.
