Phillips-Edwards

Miss Amelia Dedrick died at her South Walsingham home, about a mile from the village, on Wednesday of last week [16 Feb 1921], in her 80th year.

She was a daughter of the late Lucas Dedrick and spent her whole life on the farm on which she died. She is survived by one brother, George, and one sister, Miss Mary, who will greatly miss the one who had been their companion for so many years.

Miss Dedrick was a consistent member of the Baptist Church and was admired for her steadfastness and her noble Christian character.

Burial took place in Bayview Cemetery on Friday, in the presence of a large number of relatives and friends, who assembled to pay their tribute of respect to one whom they lived and esteemed so highly. The services were conducted by the Rev. J. M. Smith of the Baptist Church.
