Death of James Beemer

Mrs. Charles H. Collver of R. R. 4, Simcoe, was the recipient of a telegram on Saturday announcing the death of her brother, James Beemer of Yonkers, N.Y., on Friday, 6 May 1921, suddenly, of heart failure.

The news came as a great shock as he had been in good health up to date. Mrs. Collver had just returned the previous week from New York, where she had been nursing her sister, Mrs. Calder, who also died.

The deceased is a nephew of Squire John Beemer, and a cousin of C. A. Austin of Simcoe. The funeral services took place on Monday in Yonkers.

Mrs. Charles Collver had only been home a week from the funeral of her sister, Mrs. Alex. Calder, New York, when she received a message that her brother, James Beemer, of that city, has passed away, his making the third death in the family in six months. The other was Mrs. Berkinshaw of Calgary. All were children of the late Levi Beemer.
