Call Came Suddenly

Mr. Wm. B. Thorndyke dropped dead about 9 0'clock Monday morning whilst hurrying into the Norfolk Street construction tent of the Mastic and Paving Co., in an effort to escape the rain storm.

Deceased left his home on Talbot Street South Monday morning, apparently in his usual health.

He was engaged in construction work with the company and was barking piles when the storm came on.

Hurrying into the tent he suddenly dropped dead in the presence of a number of fellow-workers.

Deceased was in his 63rd year.

The funeral to Oakwood Cemetery took place yesterday afternoon.
