Norfolk Riding names Sutton

Simcoe, 17 Oct 1921 -- William Sutton, miller and grain and coal merchant, was the unanimous choice of the National, Liberal and Conservative party in Norfolk at an enthusiastic mass meeting held here today.

There was a capacity assembly in the Court House and selection was very popular.

The following were also in the nomination, but withdrew one after another, pledging support to the ultimate choice:
H. P. Innes, K.C., Simcoe;
J. R. Waddle, farmer, of Woodhouse;
John S. Martin, poultry man and farmer of Port Dover;
Frank Reid, barrister, Simcoe;
Peter Quance, lumberman, Delhi;
Henry Wallace, farmer, of Middleton.
