The news of the sudden death
of Mr. E. Smith on Friday last was a great shock to this community.
Mr. Smith was only sick for five days.
He has been a life long
resident of this place. He was one of the oldest trustees of our
church. Mr. Smith was also a valued member of the Home Circle,
Bealton.
His funeral took place from
his late home on Tuesday to Salem church, and from there to
Greenwood Cemetery, Waterford.
Mr. Smith and family have
the sincere sympathy of this whole community in their hour of
bereavement.
