Call Came Suddenly

Mr. John Sharp, Well-Known Citizen, 
Dies on His Way Home From Work.

Returning home about 10:30 Wednesday night, 21 Jul 1920, Mr. John Sharp, proprietor for a number of years of a livery stable on Court Street, and lately employed at the feed barns of Dr. Burt, expired suddenly in front of the residence of 
Mr. I. D. Lawson, Colborne Street North.

Night Watchman Gay, who was at the time passing on the opposite side of the street, immediately called a physician, who upon arrival pronounced life extinct.

Deceased was in his 67th year and leaves one daughter by his first wife.

The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from his late residence, Colborne Street North, to Oakwood Cemetery.
