Anderson-Robinson

A very pretty wedding was solemnized Wednesday, 6 Apr 1921, at "Sunny Meade" the home of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Robinson of Bealton, when their daughter, Ruby Evelyn, became the bride of Andrew Stuart, son of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Anderson, also of Bealton.

The house was very tastefully decorated for the occasion with daffodils and carnations. The bride entered the drawing-room to the strains of Mendelssohn's Wedding March played by Miss Muriel Anderson, accompanied by Miss Cora Anderson with the violin. The bride who was given away by her father, looked charming in a white crepe meteor gown with hand embroidery and pearl trimmings, her long tulle veil being held in place by a coronet of orange blossoms. She carried a shower bouquet of Ophelia roses.

Her sister, Miss Helen Robinson, made a very pretty bridesmaid, in a frilled coral crepe de chene frock with white Georgette trimming and carried a bouquet of Killarney roses. Little Lois Goble, niece of the bridegroom, made a sweet little flower girl, carrying a basket of sweet peas. Mr. Alex Anderson was his brother's best man.

.Following the ceremony the wedding dejeuner was served by six young friends of the bride. The groom's gift to the bride was a substantial cheque, to her attendants pearl crescents, and to the best man a tie-pin.

Mr. and Mrs. Anderson left amid the best wishes of their many friends on their honeymoon, to be spent in Kingston and Montreal, the bride travelling in a smart French serge suit, satin hat and white fax fur.
