The Late Mrs. Potts

The death occurred on Friday, 11 Mar 1910 of Mrs. Samuel Potts, after a lingering illness of more than two months. The funeral, which was largely attended, took place Sunday afternoon, 13 Mar 1910, from her late residence in Woodhouse to Oakwood Cemetery, where the remains were interred in the family plot.

The deceased had been a resident of this county for the past 60 years, and being a good Christian, a kind neighbor, and genial friend, was loved by all who knew her.

The floral tributes were numerous and beautiful, namely a pillow, Mrs. and Mrs. Russell;
an anchor, Mrs. Oliver Austin; and
sprays, Mr. Joseph Coates, Mrs. A. G. Rose,
Mrs. Samuel Potts, Miss Luscombe and Mrs. Toms.

Her husband predeceased her some 13 years ago and she leaves to mourn her loss two daughters, Mrs. John Russell at the old home, Mrs. Oliver Austin of  Simcoe, and one son, Andie F. Potts of Toronto, who have the sympathy of the entire community.
