Early on Tuesday morning death entered the home of
Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Pepper and claimed their eldest boy Gordon, a bright sturdy young fellow of 16 years.
He was taken down sick about two weeks ago, with what was thought to be typhoid fever, which despite every effort and careful attention, cut off the young life so full of promise.

Gordon Pepper was a devoted Christian boy and a sincere follower of Christ. He always took a very active part in all the works of the church in which he was a member. He was a great help to his pastor and teacher, always being willing to help them in any way that they needed his services.

The funeral took place on Monday at 2 o'clock at the Baptist Church. The service which was very largely attended, was conducted by Rev. Mr. Ecker and
Rev. D. N. Cameron, the pastor of the church. A
large number of floral wreaths were placed on the
casket from numerous friends.
