Hunter-McMaster

A very pretty wedding was solemized on 2 Mar 1910, at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Joel McMaster of Wyecombe, when their youngest daughter Fay, was married to Mr. Harley Hunter of Carholme.

The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Johnston of Lynedoch. As the the wedding march was played by Mrs. Tomp. Randall, the bride and groom took their places. The bride was unattended and was tastefully attired in a while princess gown trimmed with lace and insertion.

After the ceremony, the company adjourned to the dining room where a sumptuous repast was enjoyed by all. The large number of beautiful presents showed the esteem in which the bride is held by her many friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Hunter left on the 4.17 train for Toronto and Hamilton, where their honeymoon will be spent. The bride travelled in a grey suit with hat to match. The bodice was of point d'esprit mounted on white silk. On their return they will reside on their farm near Carholme.
