Two lightly edited partial transcriptions of the Kelvin column on page 2 of the 7 Oct 1920 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

Kelvin

There died at his late residence on Thurs., 23 Sep 1920, Anson Green McCrimmon, at the advanced aged of 81 years.

Deceased was seized with a stroke about four years ago, from the effects of which he never recovered, and a few weeks ago gangrene developed in his foot, rendering him perfectly helpless.

Deceased was born in Ancaster and had been a resident of Windham for a number of years. He was a member of the Methodist Church, and was always a kind and obliging neighbor and good friend.

The funeral was conducted on the following Saturday afternoon by Rev. Mr. Mann of Scotland, after which the remains were buried in the Zion Cemetery, next to his wife.

The late Mr. McCrimmon is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Dexter Dunbar and Mrs. Ambrose Nunn of Fenwick, and one brother, George McCrimmon of Welland, and a host of relatives, who will have the sincere condolence of the entire community in their bereavement.
