Greenlund-Lawson

A home wedding that was one of the prettiest of the season was that of Miss Mary Louise Lawson, younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. D. Lawson, and Mr. B. J. Greenlund of Rochester, N.Y. The ceremony was conducted by Rev. W. J. Dey, M.A., D.D., of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church on Monday.

The bride was attired in her travelling gown of imported pongee silk, with Persian embroidery and a burnt Milan hat, adorned with pastel roses. She carried a handsome bouquet of bride roses and lily-of-the-valley.

Miss Clare Lawson was bridesmaid, her gown being of blue silk and her bouquet of pink roses. Mr. George W. Lawson of Rochester, performed the duties of groomsman. Miss Florence Sutton of Hamilton played the wedding march and during the signing of the register sang "Because."

The floral decorations of the parlour and dining-room were very beautiful, the color  scheme being pink and white. The groom's gift to the bride was a handsome pearl pin and to the bridesmaid a pearl and sapphire pin. The gifts bestowed upon the bride were beautiful and took the form of cheques, silver  and cut glass.

Mr. and Mrs. Greenlund left for Buffalo, Jamestown and Chatauque Lake, remaining at the latter place for a month. The only out-of-town  guests were the bride's grandmother, Mrs. James Burgess of Vittoria, and Miss Florence Sutton.
