On Wednesday, 16 Feb 1910, the beautiful home of Mr. and Mrs.
Joseph Charlton of Lynedoch was the site of a very pretty wedding
when their eldest daughter, Minnie, was united in marriage to Mr.
Roy Gehring of Lynedoch.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. Johnston in front of
a bank of foliage, ferns and flowers. Promptly at 12 o'clock the
bride entered the parlor leaning on the arm of her father, while
the wedding march was being played by Miss Ella Charlton, sister
of the bride.
The bride was becomingly attired in cream silk and carried a
bouquet of white carnations.
Miss Leila Gehring, sister of the groom, acted well the part of
bridesmaid, while the groom was supported by Mr. [St.... .....
