FATALITY NEAR TEETERVILLE

Simcoe, 9 Oct 1928 -- A tragic fatality occurred on the highway about half a mile south of Teeterville and Windham Centre, when Mrs. Frank Brondi of Brantford, while riding on a truck driven by her husband, fell off and was instantly killed. The tragedy occurred a few minutes after 5 o'clock last evening.

Provincial Inspector Wood went out from Simcoe, and a coroner's jury was empanelled and viewed the remains at the home of T. H. Barnes of Teeterville, and adjourned until Monday at 3 p.m., when the inquiry will be resumed at the township hall at Windham Centre.

The jurymen are: Rev. B. F. Green, H. McKnight,
Roy Reece, Wm. [Beal], Jas. Dale, T. H. Barnes,
Thos. Wheeler, S. Crowhill, Milton Chapin.

Mrs. Brondi was sitting on the cab seat. There was no door and no running board on her side. Noise on the rear of the truck attracted her attention; her husband slowed down for an investigation and Mrs. Brondi overbalanced and fell out just before the truck came to a stop. The rear wheel passed over her body. Death followed in a few minutes.
