PORT ROWAN

Wesley Ashford has been appointed a fishery overseer in the Thunder Bay District at a good salary.

He went overseas with the C.E.F. in 1915 and stayed until the war ended. He won the Distinguished Service Medal for bravery on the field.

He married a fine English girl in England, who accompanied him home, since which time they have lived in this village.

They left for their new home, 150 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie, last week.
