was as about close as the contest for Reeve in this place. Major W.
A. McIntosh
was elected Mayor over B. B. Baillie by a majority of 11,
the figures being 403 to 392.
The council for 1821 [sic]
was elected by acclamation:

Deputy Reeve: A. Jacques
Water Commissioner: H. A. Carter.
