PORT ROWAN

Mrs. A. C. Fry is at St. Williams, attending her brother, J. C. Price, who is quite ill.

William A. Peach married Mrs. Griffin on 
12 Nov 1920 at St. John's Rectory.

W. W. Jenereaux has given up the implement business. It has been taken 
over by M. Furry.

Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Buck have their son, 
Dr. Harold Buck and wife of St. Thomas, visiting.

A granddaughter of A. W. Baughman of this village, Miss Jessie Irene Thompson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Thompson of Moose Jaw, was accidentally killed near her home last week. She was riding in an automobile which collided with a telegraph poll. The poll broke and fell on Miss Thompson, killing her instantly. She was a school teacher and a bright and clever young girl.

Charles Hill, a son-in-law of Mrs. Helen Kell of this village, died last Sunday at Rochester, Minn., where he had gone for treatment. Mr. Hill for some months before his death, had been in very poor health. He spent two months here last summer in Mrs. Kell's cottage, over on the lakeshore. He was well known and highly respected in this village. He leaves his widow, formerly Miss Flossie Kell, and a 10-year-old son to mourn his loss. Mrs. Hill's brother, F. Kell, and sister, Mrs. F. Reeves, went to Toronto on Tuesday to attend the funeral.
