The warping tug which
Messrs. West & Peachey have been building at Port Ryerse left
that port under its own steam this morning for Port Dover where it
will coal for its long trip to Rimouski, P.Q.
The craft has been cristened
the "Beralmis," that being the name of the river she is
designed to work upon. She is the 101st warping tug built by West
& Peachey and is the most costly and powerful they have so far
constructed.
When she leaves Port Dover
this evening she will have 10 men on board: Capt. Amundson and H.
Howard Jr., who represent the owners, Howard & Cralk of
Sherbrooke; Mr. John West, who has contracted to deliver the boat at
Quebec, Mr. Arthur Peachey, Jas. Brock, Alfred Winters, and Charles
Hart.
Messrs. Geo. H. Luscombe, A. T. Sihler and W. C. McCall go as
supercargo.
