About a
month ago there appeared in The Reformer a notice of the death of
Robert Youngs, of Tomisgency, Ohio, formerly of Middleton township.
This notice came to The Reformer in proper form through the mails, and
was published in good faith. It turns out that it was sent over a
forged signature by some evil disposed person, as yet unknown, and was
entirely without foundation. The Reformer regrets that it has
unwittingly been made the means of giving pain to Mr. Youngs' parents
in Middleton, who were naturally exercised at reading the news of the
death of a son they believed to be in good [health.]
