Mrs. William Yeager

The death of Augusta McMann, widow of the late William Yeager occurred on Wednesday, 6 Mar 1935, following but a few days' illness in her 79th year.

Mrs. Yeager contracted a cold which developed into pneumonia and at times her condition improved, but Wednesday morning took a turn for the worsse, sleeping peacefully away shortly after 12 o'clock.

The family will have the sympathy of their many friends in their sad bereavement which has followed so closely after the death of Mr. Yeager last December.

The deceased was the last of the family of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McMann. Mrs. Yeager was born at Rockford, 22 Mar 1856 and had been a resident of Norfolk County all her life, and will be missed by her many friends in Simcoe and surrounding districts.

Two sons, Percy Yeager of Townsend and Cecil Yeager of Windham townships and five grandchildren survive.

The funeral will be conducted from her late residence, 50 Lynnwood Avenue on Friday afternoon at 2.30. Rev. G. K. Bradshaw, pastor of St. James United Church will have charge of the service. Interment will be made in Oakwood Cemetery.
