Celebrated Sixtieth Wedding Anniversary
Pt. Dover couple have been long time married
-- are enjoying good health.

The ginw of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Challand of Renton was the scene of a very happy event on Feb. 22nd, when Mrs. Challand's parents celebrated the sixtieth anniversary of their wedding.

Mr. Wright was born in Lincolnshire, England, in 1832, coming to Canada with his parents in 1852. In 1856 he was married to Annie Cassady of Port Dover, who was born in 1836 at Belfast, Ireland.

Mr. and Mrs. Wright first settled on a farm in South Cayuga, later moving to Norfolk County. After nearly forty years they retired to Port Dover, where they are among the oldest inhabitants of that place.

Of this happy union there were three children, one son, William, living near Port Dover, and two daughters, Mrs. C. W. Challand and Mrs. N. R. Butler of Renton.

At noon they sat down to a sumptuous repast, surrounded by the children and eight grandchildren.

During the afternoon, Mr. J. H. Butler, photographer, of Simcoe, took a picture of the group.

Mr. and Mrs. Wright are enjoying excellent health and it is hoped that they may be spared to celebrate many more anniversaries.
