Cynthia Winter, second wife of Mr.
Newton Challen, died on Monday, 18 Aug 1919, at the residence, 113 Norfolk
Street south, after a lingering illness from the effects of a stroke.
The deceased was in her 62nd year.
The funeral took place yesterday
afternoon at 3 o'clock to Oakwood Cemetery, the Rev. H. C Newcombe
conducting the services. The pallbearers were R. E. Gunton,
M. C. Beaupre, H. Crabb, J. H. Butler,
R. Johnson and D. B. Wallace.
Two daughters and one son
survive:
Mrs. Fred Beaupre of Simcoe,
Mrs. R. McClaren of Vancouver, and
Arthur Anderson of British Columbia.
Robert and Manual Winter of Renton
are brothers.
