The Late Mrs. W. H.
Park
After an illness extending over
three years, with two severe operations, Mary Elizabeth Stizaker, wife of
Mr. W. H. Park, passed away at the family home, 77 Colborne south of
Tuesday 19 Aug 1919, from Bright's disease.
Deceased was born in Courtland
on
20 Mar 1874, and was in the 46th year of her age. She was the daughter of
the late Mr. A. J. Stizaker and Mrs. Stizaker of Delhi. The family moved
to Simcoe from Delhi about three years ago, Mr. Park being in the employ
of the Simcoe Mitt and Glove Company.
The funeral was held Friday last to
Oakwood Cemetery and was largely attended. The services were conducted by
the Rev. D. A. Moir of St. James Church, assisted by Rev. M. A. Hurlburt
of Guelph, formerly of Delhi.
The pallbearers were Messrs. Amos
Booth and Henry Howey of Simcoe, and
F. Davidson, R. Dalton, F. Staib and
A. E. Steele of Delhi.
There were left to mourn her loss a
sorrowing husband and three children: Pierre L. of the advertising
department of the Robt. Simpson Co., Toronto,
Miss Greta, supervisor of the Bell Telephone Co., town, and
Miss Flora, bookkeeper with the E. H. Jackson Co. Also her mother,
Mrs. A. J. Sitzaker of Springfield, Ont., and
Mrs. C. E. Irish of Brandon, Manitoba.
