A lightly edited partial transcription of the Kelvin column on page 2 of the 15 Apr 1920 issue 
of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper.

KELVIN

Mrs. Wm. Smith, an old and respected resident of this place, died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Hugh McDougall, on Good Friday, after a brief illness with pneumonia.

Deceased was a lifelong member of the Methodist Church, and lived a kindly Christian life.

The funeral was conducted on the following Monday by her pastor, Rev. W. F. Darling, at the home of her daughter, after which the remains were taken to Delhi for interment in the Methodist cemetery.

Deceased leaves to mourn her departure a grownw-up family, who will have the sincere condolence of the whole community in their sad bereavement.
