Obituary -- We have to record this week the death of an old and highly esteemed resident of Woodhouse in the person of Mrs. Isaac Ryerse, which sad event took place on Monday last the the 69th year of her age.

The deceased has for a long time back been a sufferer and bore up against it with much Christian fortitude. She was a daughter of Mr. Samuel Chamberlain of Townsend, and was married in 1846.

Of her seven children the following are still living: all grown up and married, viz.: Annie, wife of Mr. C. Fairchild, Port Dover; Emma, wife of Samuel McPherson, Woodhouse; Eugene at home; Elma, wife of Mr. Edward Kitchen, Delhi; and Frank, also at home.

The deceased was a consistent member of the Baptist church and was a very benevolent whole souled, kind hearted woman, who had gathered round her a large circle of friends and acquaintances for all of whom she had a kind word and pleasant smile.
