The remains of Mrs. Kate
Rushton arrived here on the night train Saturday from Cobourg,
where she died at the home of her son, John Rushton, and were
taken to the home of her nephew, A. P. Barrett, Port Royal, from
whence the funeral was held on Sunday.
Interment took place in the
Port Royal Cemetery. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. M.
Smith of the Baptist Church.
