Death of Wm. Ronson

The death occurred on Thursday, 23rd March, after a long and trying illness of Geo. W. Ronson, at his late residence on Queen Street, Delhi.

Deceased was in his 66th year and was the son of Wm. Ronson and Mary Jane May.

He was the fourth of a family of eleven children, of whom James of Glen Meyer; Joshua of Michigan; Janet of Pomeroy, Iowa; Eunice of Seattle, and Victoria of Courtland survive. The names of those who predeceased him were Roger, Mary, Susan, David and Emmie.

In 1871 he married Mary E. Hicks of Villa Nova, who survives, and had three daughters, of whom only Mrs. W. McGuire of Guelph is still living.

Mr. Ronson spent his early days on a farm near Courtland and came to reside in Delhi about ten years ago, where a large circle of friends will remember him as a man of sterling integrity and a strict adherent to British fair-play.

The funeral took place on Monday, the 27th and consisted of a house service in Delhi and interment at the Courtland Methodist Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. Tom Storey of Simcoe, and 
Mr. A. Ronson of London.
