Died in Chicago

Mr. John P. Redker, a former resident of this place, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. L. J. Hayward, in Chicago, on Wednesday of last week, after an illness of about three weeks.

He was able to be around the house every day and was not considered seriously ill. Mrs. Hayward had not been out of the room five minutes and when she returned she found he was dying.

Mr. Redker was born in Waterford and lived here nearly all his life. Many of the older resdients will remember him as one of the old established merchant tailors of the village.

The remains were accompanied to this place on Friday by Mr. L. J. Hayward, the funeral being held from the residence of Geo. Hayward on Sunday afternoon. Rev. F. C. Elliott conduct the services.
