PORT ROWAN

Miss Melissa Procunier died in the hospital at Ingersoll last Friday and the remains were brought here for burial on Saturday, accompanied by her brother, 
C. M. Procunier, and three of his daughters, Mrs. H. Banbury, Mrs. F. Handerson, and Mrs. F. Shaddock, all of Ingersoll.

Deceased was a daughter of the late Peter Procunier and was born in Walsingham, near Erie View, and was 77 years old at the time of her death.

She was a resident here for a number of years and had many friends. She followed her brother and his family to Ingersoll, with whom she lived.

In addition to those mentioned above, she is survived by one brother, Albert, of Saginaw, Michigan, and a neice, Miss Erie Procunier of Ingersoll, who was too ill to attend the funeral.

Mrs. Earl Barry and Miss Olive Hutchins of this village were also nieces of the departed.

The funeral service was held in the Baptist Church on Sunday by the pastor of the church, Rev. J. M. Smith, and burial took place in the Port Royal Cemetery.
