Amram O'Connor Passes

Mr. Amram O'Connor, a resident of this town for the past sixteen years, on Monday of last week succumbed to an illness extending over eighteen months.

The funeral took place at 2 o'cl0ck on Wednesday afternoon, to Oakwood Cemetery and was in charge of the local Lodge of Oddfellows. Rev. Harley C. Newcomb of the Baptist Church, read the funeral service.

The deceased is survived by his widow, two sons, Archie in Douglas, Arizona and Arthur in Brantford, and two daughters, Misses Ora and Stella, at home.

He was a member of the Oddfellows and Chosen Friends and was a Baptist by belief.

For fourteen years, until stricken by illness, he was in the employ of Mr. J. B. Jackson.

Mr. O'Connor was born in the township of Charlotteville, but spent part of his life outside of his native county, coming to Simcoe from Woodstock.
