SAMUEL McBRIDE

The death occurred at Glen Meyer on Thursday, March 7, after a few illness of Samuel McBride, on of that district's best known residents, aged 88 years.

The late Mr. McBride was born at Glen Meyer and had been a lifelong resident of this county.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Roxie Williams, seven years ago, and is surivived by a son, James McBride, with whom he had made his home, and a daughter, Mrs. Fishley of Ingersoll.

He was a pioneer resident of North Walsingham and had been blind for several years, but in spite of this informity was able to recognize many of his acquaintances through their voices.

In religion he was a Baptist.

The funeral was held on Saturday from Carl's funeral home with Rev. Mr. Carr of Tillsonburg officiating. Interment was in Glen Meyer cemetery. The bearers were William Willet, George Mansell, Robert Meharg, John Atkinson and Edward Kelly.
