A lightly edited partial transcription of the Waterford column on page 2 of the 4 Sep 1919 issue of the Simcoe Reformer newspaper. [Compiler's Comment: Mrs. Butler was Mary Leppard, widow of Walter Tench.]

The remains of the late Mrs. Jos. Butler of Brantford, who passed away on Saturday after being smitten a few days before by a stroke of paralysis, were brought to Waterford Tuesday afternoon and interred in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. McLachlan conducted the service at the grave.

Deceased was an old and worthy resident of Waterford and is survived by a sorrowing husband and four daughters: Mrs. Eben Snively of Townsend,
Mrs. Gable of Flesherton, and the
Misses Grace and Estella Tench of Waterford,
and three sons, Elwin and Clare Tench of Waterford
and Cecil Tench of Brantford.

To the sorrowing relatives the sincere sympathy of this community is extended.
